Can the NWT sell the rest of the world credits for conservation?
In February 2025, Pollination Foundation Co-CEOs Jane Hutchinson and Ariadne Gorring travelled to the Northwest Territories (NWT), Canada, to explore what is needed for nature stewardship credits to support communities for land conservation and restoration efforts. In collaboration with First 30×30 Canada, this initiative aims to create a system where activities like biodiversity management can generate credits tradable in global markets.
