Agreement signed to drive the development of nature-based carbon projects in across Asia

This article in Carbon Pulse Pollination’s Phil Cohn discusses the memorandum of understanding signed with the Asian Forest Cooperation Organization (AFoCO).

The agreement between Pollination and AFoCO is designed to drive the development of nature-based carbon projects in across Asia and covers countries including Indonesia, Timor Leste, Malaysia, Lao PDR, Cambodia, Vietnam, Philippines, Thailand and Bhutan.

It will see AFoCO and Pollination collaborate to originate, design and develop forest conservation and restoration projects and is a great example of the collaboration needed between public and private sectors to deliver reforestation projects and promote sustainable forest management and sustainable livelihoods for communities.
