Pollination meets with Energy China leaders

Pollination’s CEO, Martijn Wilder was pleased to host a delegation from China Energy Engineering Group (Energy China), led by Wu Yun, in pollination’s Sydney offices.

The leaders discussed common interests, and each shared their views about the innovation challenges and opportunities around the energy transition — both in Australia and globally.

Mr Wu highlighted Energy China’s leadership in airborne wind turbines and compressed air energy storage technologies, as well as the construction of the largest off-grid green hydrogen project in China. He emphasized Energy China’s active exploration of new integrated development models that combine aspects of energy relating to transportation, digitalization, construction, and industry, and signalled interest in cooperating and collaborating with other entities to drive innovative solutions in the “energy+” field.

Mr Wilder discussed the Australian renewable energy and green hydrogen market with his visitors, sharing his view that there is significant potential for Pollination and Energy China to learn from each other and to cooperate in areas such as project development and technical capability.
